​Check this out! Evan, big brother to his precious baby sister Fiona, is giving back to Fighting H.A.R.D. by doing some work in the community! Evan and his awesome friends Nate and Erik came up with the idea to rake leaves and even do a car wash fundraiser to donate their earnings back to our foundation! They ended up raising $58.50 for their HARD work! We are so proud of Evan and his friends for supporting Fighting H.A.R.D. and doing some good!

Kaya Nascimento is a Fighting H.A.R.D. superstar who got her high school volleyball team involved for their senior night! All of these champion girls showed their support for teammate Kaya who is Fighting H.A.R.D. by repping these awesome purple shirts that say "Fighting H.A.R.D. For #14" made by Shore Apparel! So great to see all of the love and support for friends and teammates! Way to go Southern!! Champs on and off the court!! ​

​Shoutout to Izzy Sanchez, who attended and spoke at the luncheon for our 2nd Annual Fighting H.A.R.D. "Fore" the Kids Golf Outing to share her Fighting H.A.R.D. story with everyone. Not only did she rock that out, but she also came with stuffed animals that SHE MADE with different types of feeding tubes (including NG/NJ, G, and J tubes), ports, and PICC lines! Can you believe it? In the rare world, mainstream representation (or any representation) can be HARD to find. Izzy is single-handedly making a change with her creations. Many kiddos in the foundation have these assistive devices to get proper nutrition. Instead of making ordinary stuffed animals, she decided to make ones that showcase some parts of the HARD life, and it's ALREADY making a difference in the lives of other kids in the foundation! Not only did the other children with feeding tubes, ports, and PICCs that were present at our outing get to see this, but Pat Geurds actually brought one to Kinsley, who was Fighting H.A.R.D. in the hospital. The smile on her face is priceless. And on top of all of that, these bears are being donated to children's hospitals in the area to show so many more kiddos that they are not alone! We are so thankful for Izzy and for all that she is doing to Fight H.A.R.D. for kids like her! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Izzy! We love you, and thank you for showing other kiddos that they are NEVER alone. We Fight TOGETHER.

Remi and Luke are some of the most inspirational kids you'll ever meet! These siblings are Fighting H.A.R.D. together to make a difference in the community! They made their very own lemonade stand and donated 100% of the profits to Fighting H.A.R.D. Foundation to help other kids who are battling rare diseases and chronic illnesses to know they are not alone! They raised over $300 by the end of the day with the help of generous supporters in the community, and we could not be more proud of them for using their journey to inspire and give back! 

The community in Point Pleasant, New Jersey is truly outstanding in their support for Fighting H.A.R.D.! Fighting H.A.R.D. Kids Zoe, LJ, and Jenna all worked HARD to make this fundraiser at Martell's Tiki Bar a huge success by sharing their stories, raising awareness, making signs, and getting local businesses in on the action! And of course, this wouldn't be possible without Rarents Karen Troutman, Sharon Hansen, and Abby Daw, who are raising courageous and inspirational children who give back! Local businesses such as Plethora Boutique, Mueller's Bakery, Martell's Tiki Bar, and more know these families and jumped in with donations to the gift auction and have continuously supported the mission of helping children with rare diseases and chronic illnesses to know they are not alone. Overall, an amazing day where the community rallied together to Fight HARD for these kids!
