Fighting H.A.R.D., based in Howell, is raising money for its mission of helping families faced with the challenges of rare diseases. HOWELL, NJ — A Howell Township nonprofit that provides support to families and children fighting rare diseases is holding a benefit golf outing on July 30 to raise money for its mission.
The Fighting H.A.R.D. Foundation is hosting its 4th annual Fighting H.A.R.D. "Fore" the Kids Golf Outing, which is being sponsored by Howell P.B.A. and Hackensack Meridian Health. Fighting H.A.R.D. Foundation is a nonprofit based in Howell and its mission is to help children with rare diseases and chronic illnesses to not feel alone. It was founded in 2015 by two sisters battling rare conditions of their own: Allie and Jonna Crocker. The annual golf outing will be held at Pebble Creek Golf Club from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. and a luncheon afterward. Fighting H.A.R.D. is welcoming sponsors for the event and had a few foursomes open for those who may want to join the golf outing.
