Clean Crayon CollectionThis project was started in memory of a very special friend of ours, 8 year old Taylor “Iron Man” Barta.
Taylor loved to color, but only wanted the best crayons for his creations! Also, he had to be sure to avoid all of the germs from the community crayon bins, so in order to honor this incredibly strong boy, we have been collecting “8” packs of Crayola Crayons and will be distributing them to NJ hospitals, beginning at Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ, where Taylor spent a great deal of time battling a very rare form of cancer, called Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. We look forward to supplying these special germ-free gifts from a real-life superhero, to other kids who are Fighting HARD every day. It is our hope to supply these clean crayon stations in as many hospitals as possible to tell Taylor’s inspiring story, a journey of strength, determination, and courage!
